The daughters of Suzanne Morphew were never able to celebrate her on Mother’s Day of 2020, for on May 10th, Suzanne disappeared. A neighbor had reported Suzanne missing after a bike ride near her home in Chaffee County, Colorado. Nearly a year after her disappearance, Suzanne’s husband, Barry Morphew, was arrested in connection with her presumed death. However, the charges would be dropped in 2022. After three years of searching for answers, the investigation into Suzanne’s disappearance took a tragic turn when on September 22, 2023, her remains were found as investigators worked on an unrelated case.

FOX 21 Investigative Reporter Rhea Jha provides an overview of the case and discusses the future prosecution of the case. Later, Rhea shares reactions from the Colorado community as they continue to fight for answers.
