Rep. Mike Gallagher: Optimistic a New Speaker Will Be Elected “By the End of the Business Day Tomorrow”

Congressman Mike Gallagher (R-WI/8), Chairman of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, a member of the House Armed Services and Intelligence Committees, and veteran joined the Guy Benson Show to discuss the current fight amongst Republicans in the House of Representatives to elect a new Speaker of the House as the debate between electing Scalise or Jordan rages on.  The two also discuss the attacks on Israel via Hamas and Hezbollah, and whether or not Iran is directly involved in the conflict. “The best case scenario for what remains of this Congress is that we select a new Speaker, move out on some key issues, and recognize that with a limited majority… we need to focus on fixing the broken plumbing of Congress.”
