Why do we celebrate Fat Bear Week?
For bears, fat means survival. Every year since 2014, bystanders are welcomed to celebrate Alaska’s Katmai National Park and it’s healthy ecosystem, an ecosystem that provides enough salmon for Katmai’s people…and bears.
