Former U.S. State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on why the Biden administration and Democratic leaders like New York City Mayor Eric Adams are finally starting to pay attention to the humanitarian crisis at the U.S. Southern border.

“Listen, they clearly didn’t care when Republicans were bringing this up as an issue. But I think when you have border state Democrat elected officials and mayors of large cities like New York City, Democrats again, that are saying every day in press conferences, hey, this is a problem. This is a problem. This is a problem. Maybe that’s finally what got them to wake up to it. You know, we couldn’t even get to them at the beginning of this administration, you know, to recognize it was a problem. You know, you look at the humanitarian catastrophe, the human trafficking, theĀ  sexual assault of the women that are coming across the border. We just need to put to bed this whole liberal notion and fallacy that somehow this is a humane border policy. It isn’t. All we’re doing is enriching the cartels and by and large are weakening the Mexican government by enriching the cartels and giving them so much power. They’re making billions of dollars off of this.”

Morgan also tells Jimmy what she thinks the White House has gotten wrong when it comes to their policy toward Ukraine. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
