Congressman Mike Lawler (R-NY) spoke to Brian Kilmeade about urging caution to his fellow republicans on impeachment. Lawler believes impeachment doesn’t usually play out well with the American people and believes the ballot box will determine President Biden’s fate. Lawler stresses that we have to let the process play out and says that the very people who are decrying the weaponization of the Department of Justice and the FBI now want Congress to do the same thing, adding, it doesn’t work like that. Lawyer also took issue with republicans Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene. Lawler said Gaetz has acted in such an irrational manner talking about motions to vacate and remove Speaker McCarthy. Lawler points out if they are successful with a motion to vacate, what happens is all the investigations grind to a halt and added, the stupidity on part of some of my colleagues is mind numbing.
