New Jersey Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew joins Fox Across America With guest host Harry Hurley to express his opposition to the Biden administration’s reported plan to relocate migrants in New York City to the Atlantic City International Airport.
“If you want to get across the border and you’re illegal, you go to the drug cartels, you pledge to them that you’ll sell drugs. You pledge to them that they will basically be your master and whatever crime they want you to commit. They are involved with drug trafficking, human trafficking, and every godforsaken thing in the world. And we are not even vetting these people well enough. So in every community, they are escaping into the community because it’s catch and release. We catch them and they just let them go. We’re giving them driver’s licenses. And when they get driver’s licenses, believe it or not, in New Jersey, then they can go and vote if they want to. This is bad stuff. So I’m glad we’re fighting this and I think we’re going to fight as hard as we can. I’m going to fight it every single day because it’s wrong. It’s wrong to our veterans, the hardworking people in New Jersey that are paying high interest rates like rest of the country and who are paying high taxes. And they’re going to even have to pay more if this kind of stuff goes on. So there’s nothing good about this. And it’s amazing to me that literally they would think they could do this in South Jersey. And I put out a challenge there. You know, Governor Murphy, now after silence for a number of days, he said he’s against it. Well, you know what? He’s good friends with the president of the United States. Time for him to directly contact the president and say, you know what? We don’t want this in New Jersey.”
