Jennifer Griffin: Prigozhin’s Death a Message “Not to Challenge the Kremlin Leader”

Jennifer Griffin, National Security Correspondent for Fox News, joins the Guy Benson Show to discuss the not-so-surprising death of Yevgeny Prigozhin. They discuss the circumstances surrounding his death, including the now reported explosion on-board the aircraft. They also discuss the slowing of the Ukraine counteroffensive into Russia.

Griffin had this to say on the death of Prigozhin:

“They didn’t know when Putin would act, but they said Putin would not take kindly to such a challenge. And then we saw the plane go down yesterday. And and it’s very typical guy in Russia for some mystery to surround these kind of incidents. The Kremlin likes to create the mystery so that then they can have contradictory information. It’s part of their disinformation campaign. The message is very clear to Putin’s opponents that Putin, you know, was likely behind the ending of the life of Yevgeny Prigozhin. And it’s a message not to challenge the Kremlin leader.”
