Target Sales Take a Dip

Target sales take a big hit, dipping for the first time in SIX YEARS last quarter.

Yep, I’m gonna say it..GO WOKE GO BROKE!

By now you know the sad tale of Bud Light’s downfall, but the once top dog beer brand isn’t the only company experiencing what we’ll call the “conservative crunch.”

Target’s quarterly sales were down over 5% which might not seem significant, BUT important to note this is the first time in 6 years the company has dipped! Target even had to adjust full-year sales projections and expectations.

CEO Brian Cornell blames Bidenflation which is fair, but let’s not forget the other part of that equation..the huge Pride Month backlash.

If you’ll recall, Target rolled out the rainbow carpet in extreme fashion for most of May and all of June. Items included junk tucking swimwear and more.

A lot of these items were also geared towards and marketed to kids.

Turns out consumers don’t like that and Target is finding that one out the hard way.

Let this be a lesson and teachable moment.

You’re way off target in more ways than one!
