Evening Edition: Navy Officer Remains Imprisoned In Ally Japan

Navy Lieutenant Ridge Alkonis is currently serving a three year prison sentence in Japan for his involvement in a car accident that resulted in the deaths of two people. Family and friends of Lt. Alkonis say he is being forgotten about and want to see more done by the government and the military to seek his release. FOX’s Ryan Schmelz speaks with Andrew Eubanks, long time friend of Lt. Alkonis and advocate for ‘Bring Ridge Home’, who says a medical condition caused the accident and much more should be done by officials to return Lt. Alkonis to his family.
