The Biden family continues living in the headlines, as new developments regarding Hunter Biden’s business dealings and the unveiling of the President’s new economic philosophy, “Bidenomics,” continue being top news across the country. Though President Biden is aiming to keep Americans focused on his economic vision, many are unable to forget the record inflation, high interest rates, and unsteady housing market they’ve faced for months on end. Additionally, a new testimony from Devon Archer, a former business partner of Hunter Biden, before the House Oversight Committee has revealed evidence suggesting that President Biden was aware of and potentially involved in multiple foreign business deals his son Hunter was making. On the Rundown, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) shares why he believes “Bidenomics” is failing as it isn’t “resonating with mainstream America,” how Devon Archer’s testimony further reveals ‘corruption’ within the Biden family and his reaction to a new CNN poll that reveals the majority of Americans trust House Republicans to tackle major issues over the President.
People calling 9-1-1 for urgent help are seeing massive delays in actual assistance. A new survey released by the National Emergency Number Association shows that over 80 percent of America’s dispatching centers are understaffed. This is causing record levels of employee burnout and churn, as staff feel unprepared to deal with certain high-stress situations. Nearly all of the call centers in the country provide mental health services to their employees; however, respondents are not taking advantage of the resources made available to them. CEO of the National Emergency Number Association, Biran Fontes, joins the Rundown to talk about why many respondents struggle to handle the stress of the job, how better technology could improve job performance, and the association’s efforts to work with the U.S. Labor Department to provide better resources to dispatchers.
