Light Bulb Ban

Yesterday was the first day of August but that’s not all… it also became illegal to sell incandescent light bulbs.

The Democrat government is hard at work saving the planet again.

Oh wait, just kidding. They are simply virtue signaling with some more BS like banning incandescent light bulbs.

Yep, on August 1st it became illegal for retailers to sell incandescent light bulbs and illegal for manufacturers to continue to produce them.

Oh darn it, that means shoplifters in blue cities will only be able to steal LED bulbs, now. What a bummer!

Now this ban- like many stupid things the federal government has recently enacted- is billed as an environmental act to save Mother Earth.

Ya know..so John Kerry and pals can fly around on private jets and feel better about their emissions knowing we the peasants won’t be buying those evil incandescents!!!

What a joke this is. Climate crusaders promise you’ll save money with LED bulbs because they last longer..but they are also more expensive to buy.

What this really is is another government overreach disguised as conservation and love of Earth.

Gird your loins and your appliances, they are coming for it all!
