Congressman Michael Waltz (R-FL) spoke to Brian Kilmeade about why he is supporting Donald Trump over Ron DeSantis. Waltz found the video put out by a Ron DeSantis super Pac bizarre hitting Donald Trump when he was President for defending the gay community after the Pulse nightclub massacre. Waltz says Trump rightly stood strong with the LGBTQIA+ community and thinks DeSantis could lose support from the LGBTQIA+ community if they continue to do these types of ads. Waltz also spoke about war crimes committed by Russia in the Ukraine war. Waltz believes a weakened Russia that can’t attack its neighbors and attack our interests, is in U.S. interests and an unstable Russia is not because you could get something far worse than Putin. Waltz cautioned Senator Lindsey Graham’s call for the replacement of Putin because you are not going to get some kind of democrat centrist.
