Extra: How Do We Make Russia And Other Nations More Afraid To Take Americans?

Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich remains in a Russian prison after losing his appeal against the extension of his detention earlier this week.

He will remain in prison ahead of his trial for espionage and is being held at the notorious Lefortovo Prison in Moscow where he
now faces up to 20 years in jail.

But Evan is not the only American who remains a Russian prisoner. For example, former Marine Paul Whelan is still being held under espionage charges, and has been in a prison camp for more than four years.

Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Republican Congressman Michael McCaul joined special guest host FOX News Correspondent Benjamin Hall on the FOX News Rundown this past week to discuss the U.S. government’s effort to free Evan and other Americans currently detained wrongfully by Russia.

Benjamin also spoke to the brother of Paul Whelan, David Whelan, about his brother’s case and his family’s fight to get him home.
