Democratic strategist and co-host of “The Five” Jessica Tarlov joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on comments ESPN host Stephen A. Smith recently made about President Biden’s ability to execute a potential second term in the White House.

“I think that things have to substantially change from where they are for us to be in any sort of crisis mode. And when you are 80, that can happen a lot quicker than when you’re younger. I mean, DeSantis is 44 years old. I think the debates are going to be very difficult if it isn’t Trump and it’s a DeSantis or anyone 65 and below, you’re just going to see a quicker person and a slower person. No matter what you think about gaffes or how he presents, etc. Right now, I don’t think it’s a five alarm fire, but that exists. And that piece on Monday, The New York Times piece about his schedule, which, Dana, when we were talking about it on The Five and she called it a puff piece. I said, it’s a hit piece to me. If I’m a Biden supporter, which I identify as, and I read that and it tries to make me feel better that he kept the same, Obama didn’t start work technically before ten either, right, in terms of public events, but he did twice as many afterwards. And you have all of these anonymous quotes from important people, like donors. So obviously, what happened, and Dana pointed this out, is a bunch of important people came to the Times and were like, you can’t use my name, but we want this in the ether that we’re freaking out.”

Plus, Jessica tells Jimmy why she believes former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is the dark horse candidate in the 2024 GOP presidential primary race. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
