Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future Daniel Turner joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his reaction to former President Trump promising to “Drill, Baby, Drill” in order to lower energy costs in the U.S. if he’s able to win a second term in 2024.
“I was very happy for that and also unsurprised. And Kaitlan Collins should be unsurprised. And it’s not because he has this, love affair for oil, which he does. He loves the American energy industry. But he understands the basic laws of economics. And if you want to lower prices while the demand is consistent, you have to increase the supply of something. So all he’s saying by ‘Drill, Baby, Drill’ is, if we have a lot more oil, we will have cheaper prices and then the cheaper price of all goods because everything is grown, manufactured, transported, everything needs oil, everything needs energy. And so it’s just a basic understanding. And the flip side of that is what Biden has done. He’s made it harder to produce oil and he’s bragged about it. Right? And he’s bragged about how hard it is. I’m standing up to Big Oil. They’re not going to have their moment. Okay. Well, what’s the result? The result is your eggs cost $5.50 a dozen.”
Plus, Daniel and Jimmy talk about Trump’s overall performance in his town hall with CNN on Wednesday night. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
