Theoretical physicist, futurist, and Professor of theoretical physics at City College of New York, Dr. Michio Kaku joins Kennedy to discuss his new book, Quantum Supremacy: How the Quantum Computer Revolution Will Change Everything.

Dr. Kaku reveals that the problems we’ve faced with quantum computing are because the information is stored at an atomic level, leaving any disruption to result in a quantum miscalculation. He shares how the United States is working to overcome these issues and later argues that the world economy could eventually depend on whether China or the U.S. first develop quantum computers that compute for atoms rather than transistors.
