Twitter Changes Deadnaming Policy
Twitter has quietly changed its policy on “misgendering” and the liberals are going bananas!
I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.
Since 2018 Twitter has considered “misgendering” trans people a violation of their hateful content guidelines, but not anymore.
The line in the policy that once outlined the violation of “misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals” has been removed.
The change quietly occurred this month without much fanfare but was pointed out by the LGBTQ activist group GLAAD, and now the Left is all up in arms.
This doesn’t mean that hate speech against the trans community is now allowed, don’t let the Left fool you. It simply means that calling someone by the wrong pronoun or their given name is not automatically considered a violation.
At the end of the day, I don’t think most users go out of their way to misgender or “mispronoun” others, it’s quite frankly just hard to keep up with all of these new woke sensitivities, definitions and practices!
Be trans, whatever, but don’t expect the world to immediately bow to your feet and walk on eggshells for fear of offending you.
P.S. As a Conservative on Twitter, I get called a whole lot worse and I get over it, you can too!
