American Special Forces evacuated staff and family Sunday from the U.S. Embassy in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum. The nation is in the middle of a violent civil war and while neither side is targeting Americans, the US State Department says the African country is not safe and is giving a ‘Do Not Travel’ advisory. Jack Keane (Ret.) discusses what planning went into the evacuation mission, what sparked the civil war, and how this crisis compares to the U.S.’ withdrawal from Afghanistan.
