Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) Explains Why He Believes Ron DeSantis Should Be The 2024 GOP Presidential Nominee

Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) joined the Guy Benson Show to talk about the ongoing debt ceiling negotiations, the border crisis, and his 2024 Presidential endorsement.

Congressman Roy explained his early support for DeSantis saying,

“I go out and I talk to a lot of people and I endorsed Governor DeSantis. Why? Because I want somebody who, frankly, is not a baby boomer who is young and energetic, who can serve for eight years and has a proven track record of success. He won by a million and a half votes, 62% of Hispanic voters, 50% of single female voters unafraid to take on the corporate establishment, taking on Disney, unafraid of taking on the education establishment in his own state, great economic success, etc., etc.. I think that’s a positive forward direction where we can go.”
