Co-Anchor of “America’s Newsroom” Bill Hemmer joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give his take on the situation involving classified Pentagon documents allegedly leaked by 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira.
“Why does the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Air National Guard have access to high classified information? Why? And if they’ve got it, 49 other states have it. But he’s 21. He’s working in IT. Right? I mean, what are they doing overnight here? But these are the questions that must be answered. There are 2.9 million Americans who have access to classified material. You know how this happened? After 911, remember, all the agencies were pointing fingers at each other. Like, why didn’t the FBI tell the local force about this guy? All of that. So they tried to break down those walls, and they did. And maybe perhaps now too much.”
