Ohio Republican Congressman and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how government agencies like the FBI are being weaponized against average U.S. citizens.
“Remember, in the last month, we learned the FTC sent several letters to a private company. In some of those letters, they asked specifically who are the journalists you’re talking to, named four journalists personally. Two of those four journalists testified in front of our committee. While they were testifying, Democrat members of Congress asked them, who are your sources? And while they were getting asked that question, a direct attack on the First Amendment, the IRS was knocking on one of their doors, just by chance, just coincidence. Talk about intimidation. And then we learn that the Richmond field office of the FBI put out a memorandum, signed off by the chief counsel, Derek Richmond, the division’s counsel, the top lawyer there, that said it’s okay for them to go into Catholic churches and develop sources, to develop informants within the parish, within the church, to rat or to spy on or whatever they’re doing to fellow parishioners. That’s what’s going on.”
Rep. Jordan also talks about why his committee is planning to hold a field hearing in New York City next week, just blocks away from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
