Anchor of “Fox News Sunday” Shannon Bream joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her reaction to the news that the Manhattan grand jury hearing evidence in a hush money probe involving former President Trump is not scheduled to meet about the case again until the end of April.
“Well listen, I can tell you, I had a very close family member who was on a grand jury that lasted for months and months and months and months. And they would have to have breaks sometimes in there for people, you know, kids and things that come up in life. But they do, sometimes, they’re handling other cases as well. So they got to think about those witnesses and those timelines. But, you got to wonder, grand juries are secrets, so we’re not supposed to know exactly what’s going on back there. But I do think that we have real questions about whether this attorney Robert Costello showing up last week, telling them, hey, there are hundreds of emails you haven’t seen. There’s more of the story you don’t know about Michael Cohen. Michael Cohen denies all that. But you got to wonder now if the grand jury is sort of like, huh, I thought maybe we were ready to move in one direction. Maybe we need a little bit more discussion. We just have to wait and see.”
Plus, Shannon tells Jimmy about her new book, The Love Stories of the Bible Speak: Biblical Lessons on Romance, Friendship, and Faith. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
