Extra: Why The Ex-CDC Chief Says Dr. Fauci Is Being “Highly Misleading”

Will we ever know definitively where COVID came from?

The US is still investigating and in a rare instance of bipartisanship, Congress has unanimously approved a bill that would declassify information related to the origins of the COVID-19 virus.

During a hearing earlier this month, Republicans took aim at Dr. Anthony Fauci for pushing theories that the virus originated “naturally” from animal exposure while accusing him of shutting out voices who questioned that narrative and believed the pandemic began via an accidental lab leak.

One of the voices was former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield.

Dr. Redfield, who served at the CDC as the pandemic began, joined host Dave Anthony on the Rundown to discuss why he is confident the virus originated from a lab in Wuhan, China, the dangers of gain-of-function research, and why he believes the mystery surrounding COVID’s origins can now only be solved by America’s intel community.

Dr. Redfield also weighed in on his ongoing dispute with Dr. Fauci, and why he thinks the Former NIAID Director is being ‘untruthful’ about the investigation into how and when the virus spread.

Due to time limitations, we could not include all of the discussion in our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear our entire interview with former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield and hear even more about the COVID virus, how it began, and how the current fight against it is going.
