Co-Anchor of “America’s Newsroom” and co-host of “The Five” Dana Perino joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to talk about the new season of her podcast, “Everything Will Be Okay”.
“It’s pretty great that I get to talk to just a range of people. I just reach out and say, would you like to be on the podcast? And some people from Fox, but a lot of people who aren’t. In fact, I’m very excited. This Friday, my interview with Benjamin Hall will air. He’s someone when he says that he believes everything will be okay, you better believe it. But today kicks off one with this woman named Ashley Brown. She’s the founder and CEO of something called the Selfless Love Foundation. She as a baby was adopted and grew up with loving adoptive parents. She married a guy who was quite wealthy. He was somebody who was running the Patron Tequila brand. For her wedding present, one of the things that she asked for was the ability to help foster kids. So they focus on that. And she really focuses on older foster kids because, you know, our foster kids system is not terrific. And it leaves a lot to be desired. And you age out at age 18, which means that on your 18th birthday, that you might want to celebrate, the next day, you’re on your own. So if you haven’t found your forever family or you don’t have an adoptive situation, you’re out. And she said that half of those kids go homeless. So that’s what she wants to focus on.”
Plus, Dana and Jimmy share their thoughts on the current state of the 2024 presidential race. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
