Evening Edition: The EPA Orders Norfolk Southern To Pay For Chemical Spill Cleanup

The head of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) told residents of East Palestine, Ohio that the company who owns the derailed train will pay for the entire cleanup of ground and water. Speaking at a Tuesday afternoon press conference, EPA Chief Michael Regan said that if Norfolk Southern does not cough up for the cleanup, they will face penalties.
