Balenciaga Attempts Damage Control

After a widely criticized ad campaign featuring BDSM teddy bears, Balenciaga attempts damage control with this move.

I’m Tomi Lahren, find out next.

A few months back designed fashion house Balenciaga was bashed- even by some on the Left- for an ad campaign that not only featured BDSM teddy bears, but sexualized children in a very disturbing way.

Well now, the brand is attempting to clean up its mess by patterning with child advocacy group National Children’s Alliance (NCA), a nonprofit based out of Washington D.C.

The partnership will focus on providing resources to children healing from trauma, educate parents and children on exploitation and abuse and raise public awareness on the issue.

Now this is no doubt a positive step, but is it too little too late?

I wanna know if those in charge of the artistic direction on not 1 but 2 disturbing ads were fired and held accountable.

I also want to know how executives at Balenciaga could’ve possibly given their stamp of approval in the first place!

I’m glad the brand is putting its money towards a good cause but it still feels like a bit of an empty PR move to me!
