Daniel Turner: If Biden’s Admitting We Still Need Oil, Why Can’t It Come From America?
Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future Daniel Turner joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his reaction to President Biden’s admission during his State of the Union address that the U.S. will need oil and gas for at least another decade.
“Quite frankly, I was happy to see the Republicans pushing back. It’s a lie to say we need oil for at least ten years because I don’t know of another way to make plastic or laundry detergent or aspirin or the hundreds of millions of products that come from petrochemicals, let alone just actual gas or jet fuel, but hundreds of millions of products that come from petrochemicals. So it’s a lie to say we need it for at least ten years because we need it right now, forever. But it’s also curious to say, well, if we need it and you’re admitting we need it, then why can’t we develop it in America? Why are you buying it from Iran? You’re making deals with Venezuela and the Saudis. You went over there to Saudi Arabia begging them to produce.”
