Evening Edition: Powerful Earthquake Devastates Turkey And Syria
A 7.8 magnitude earthquake devastated southern Turkey and northern Syria early Monday, crumbling hundreds of buildings and killing thousands of people. Hundreds, if not thousands, are still feared to be trapped under rubble, and the death toll is expected to rise as frantic rescue efforts are underway. FOX’s Eben Brown spoke with Ambassador Hasan Murat Mercan, Turkish Ambassador to the United States, about the current rescue and recovery operations.
