Rep. Byron Donalds: It’s Ridiculously Derelict For Biden To Even Have Obama-Era Classified Documents
Florida Republican Congressman Byron Donalds joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his reaction to revelations that a second batch of classified documents had been discovered at one of President Biden’s homes in Delaware.
“Here’s the fundamental issue with this. Joe Biden had these documents in his possession after he left the White House from being vice president. Some people might be like, well, what’s the big deal? Vice presidents have no ability to declassify anything. A vice president has the same ability to declassify information as you do or I do, which means none. So why does the vice president have these things in his possession? That’s number one. And then number two, more importantly, why did it take six years for us to figure this out? And then the third part is, well, where’s the raid? You know, has somebody impounded the Corvette? Like, where is the raid? What’s going on? I don’t know. But they were quick to raid Mar-A-Lago when they knew the documents were there. And President Trump’s lawyers were in negotiations with the National Archives.”
Rep. Donalds also talks about his recent viral interview with MSNBC’s Joy Reid. Listen to the podcast to hear what else he had to say!
