Bill Melugin: Biden Went To A Part Of The Border Where The Action Isn’t Happening
Fox News National correspondent Bill Melugin joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his thoughts on how President Biden could have used his time in a more productive way during a recent visit to the U.S. Southern border.
“He spends most of his time at a port of entry. The action isn’t happening at the port of entry. It’s happening in between the ports of entry, where we show all the video every day of people crossing through the river, through the water. He didn’t go down there. He didn’t see any of that. He didn’t see any of the people at the campfires. He didn’t see where the Texas National Guard has had to post up with Humvees and barbed wire. He didn’t go to parts of the border wall that have had holes cut into it, where people are running across traffic and disappearing into El Paso neighborhoods. He went port of entry. He went to a migrant assistance center run by the county, which magically didn’t have a single migrant there that day when they say they average between 3 and 400 a day, sometimes up to a thousand. Then he did a little walk and talk down by the border wall with some border agents who, I would add, he’s never apologized to for falsely smearing them with the horse whipping thing.”
Bill also pushes back on Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ claim that the border is secure. Listen to the podcast to hear what else he had to say!
