Bill Hemmer: There Are No Easy Answers To How The NFL Proceeds After What Happed To Damar Hamlin

Co-Anchor of “America’s Newsroom” Bill Hemmer joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to discuss what we know so far about the terrifying incident that took place in Cincinnati on Monday night involving Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.

“I wasn’t quite sure what was happening. And now we can understand. A guy was given CPR on the field. They may have tried to jolt his heart based on some of the reports. But you had 66,000 people watching this and teammates and opponents on the field. From the text messages I’ve received from family and friends, they were all in shock watching this. So you can see where the players are coming from and the coaches as well. I think they made the right call in calling the game. I couldn’t really understand why ESPN wasn’t giving us a better shot of the field. I didn’t get it, but now I do. I wasn’t quite sure why they were so distant in their observations of it, but I get it now because they weren’t sure if this guy was going to live or die. And that’s just the truth, I think”
