It Pays to Live Off the Government

Welfare and other benefits are more lucrative than an actual job in some states…ya don’t say?!

According to a new study, it pays to be lazy and live off the government.

In 14 states, unemployment benefits plus Obamacare subsidies for a family of 4 with two people not working amounted to an annualized equivalent of $80,000 bucks per year in wages and benefits.

And in the states of Washington, Massachusetts and New Jersey, those benefits were even fatter- the equivalent of over $100k per year.

So if you’re wondering why we still have a supply chain crisis and worker shortage, well look no further than the government incentivized laziness that’s been created.

Ya know, hard work and an EARNED living used to mean something- used to be a source of personal pride, but not anymore. Now some Americans actually believe it’s their right or even their DUTY to stay home and do nothing as they await mailbox money from the taxpayers who care to get our butts out of bed and work!

Well a word of caution to the blissfully unemployed, you can be free or you can be dependent on the government, but you can’t be both!
