Bill Melugin: It Is Not A Realistic Statement To Say That The Border Is Closed

Bill Melugin, National correspondent for Fox News joined the Guy Benson Show to discuss the ongoing crisis at the U.S. southern border as title 42 sits in limbo.

Melugin detailed his reporting saying,

“The administration can continue to claim that the border is closed. It’s just not reality. And you can ask that whether it’s the migrants or Border Patrol or even fellow Democrats. You know, Joe Manchin has said it’s not close. You’ve got Henry Quayar are saying it’s not. It is not a realistic statement to say that the border is closed, not when you’ve got over a million gateways, not when you have the highest illegal crossings ever. Not when you have the migrants themselves telling you that the borders open as they wave to our cameras and flash a thumbs up and tell us where they’re planning to travel to the US once they’re released. It’s just not a it’s not a realistic statement.”
