Mother of Murdered Veteran Fights Against the Detriment of Bail Reform

We’re Momming today with Madeline Brame, Chairwoman of the Victims Rights Reform Council. Madeline has become a leader in the charge against bail reform since the tragic murder of her son, Sergeant Hason Correa, who was stabbed to death at the age of 35 by a group of attackers he didn’t even know. He had a wife and three children. Because of New York City’s bail reform law, one of Sgt. Correa’s attackers walks free today, only 4 years after his murder. Madeline shares the action she and the VRCC have taken to demand justice for the brutal crime that took her son, and what New Yorkers can do to help.
