Rep. Kevin Hern: Republicans Have a plan To Restore Economic Freedoms To The American People

Oklahoma Republican Congressman Kevin Hern joins Fox Across America With guest host Paul Gleiser to shed light on why so many voters are concerned about the state of the economy, and what his party will do to get it back on track if they are able to win back control of the House and Senate next month.

“The American people are getting crushed. If you think about now, it takes a month extra of salary to buy the things you bought last year or just 20 months ago, you have to spend additional months worth of salary. And on top of that, because of what’s happened in the financial markets, for those people who were saving for retirement or saving for college, you’ve lost one year of college savings just since January of ’22. The market’s down 25 percent. So if you have a 529 out there, you’ve been saving, you’ve been doing the right thing. You’d not been expecting the president to unilaterally forgive your student debt. You’re want to pay for what you make a decision to buy, meaning your college tuition. You’ve lost 25 percent, one year of college savings just since January of this year. The American people have had enough. And we’ve got a plan out there to restore the economic freedoms to the American people, the personal and religious liberties, and reestablish our national security. And it’s that’s what the American people want to hear. But they also want to see it. And that’s what we’re going to do and get back in charge in January.”
