Rep. Byron Donalds: Serving In The Senate Just Isn’t In The Cards For Fetterman

Florida Republican Congressman Byron Donalds joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why  he believes Democrat John Fetterman’s troubling performance against Dr. Oz  in Tuesday night’s debate is proof he cannot perform the duties necessary to serve in the U.S. Senate.

“Fetterman is not prepared to do the job. It’s unfortunate. I’m sorry he had a stroke. I do want him to recover, because he’s a human being first before we even get into politics. But being in in Congress, being in the Senate is not just reading your notes that your staff gives you. You have to make judgments in every meeting of every day about what you’re going to support and not. He does not have the capability to do this. And that was evident from looking at the debate. There are no teleprompters in these meetings. I mean, Joe Biden has it for his speeches. And typically governors and presidents have the teleprompter for the speeches. But you don’t have them in the meetings. You don’t have them when you’re having to do briefings. You don’t have them when you having to actually go through the legislation and make determinations. That’s not how this works. It’s way more conversations, way more information that comes in through audio with people talking. That’s how most of the information is passed along. It’s just not in the cards for him physically.”

Plus, Rep. Donalds tells Jimmy about what he thinks the Republican agenda should be if they succeed in taking control of both the House and Senate in the midterms. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
