Putin is escalating the war on Ukraine, with Russia’s latest aerial bombardment of residential areas of Ukraine this week resulting in multiple casualties. Western allies have now agreed to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s request for air-defense technology, and the European Union plans to start training Ukrainian soldiers how to use these systems soon.
