Emily Compagno: Kamala Harris’ Flip-Flop On Decriminalizing Marijuana Shows She Doesn’t Stand For Anything

Co-host of “Outnumbered” Emily Compagno joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her reaction to Vice President Kamala Harris telling NBC’s Seth Meyers that nobody should have to go to jail for smoking weed.

“Not only did she oversee the prosecutions of multiple thousands of people for minor simple possession, but she’s parroted that talking point her whole life. So I was subjected to her reign as a district attorney in San Francisco, where she was adamant that, according to her campaign manager at that time, “drug sellers ruin communities”. She was staunchly opposed to legislation in 2010 in California that would have legalized simple possession of marijuana, smoking marijuana recreationally. And then for a long time, she was against it recreationally, said she was for medicinally. As recently as 2015, the candidate she was running against, who was for recreational marijuana, when she was asked about it, did her cackling hysterically thing and said, absolutely not. So as we’ve seen her thaw through the years, it’s only been the result of public opinion changing. It’s her trying to curry voters because every step of the way she was “staunchly in” whatever position she occupied at that moment just to win political favor. And that’s partly why, as a lifelong Californian that has been subjected to her, I know she flip flops. We know she doesn’t stand for anything.”
