Those at the Fort Worth Police Department sought out new applicants by posting a lighthearted recruitment video that has since gone viral. Officer Buddy Calzada, who appears as the cheery “Officer Big B” in the video, joins to discuss what inspired the FWPD to make their recruitment video, how it has played a role in their department receiving “non-stop” applications, and why their intentional efforts to connect with the community has led to the overall success of Fort Worth’s police force.
