Florida Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give an update on recovery efforts in the southwest part of the Sunshine State after Hurricane Ian caused a significant amount of destruction last week.
“In all seriousness, it is really, truly a symphony happening in front of our eyes. The federal, the state, the local officials, everybody’s really come together. It’s not a White, Black Republican-Democrat thing. This is an American thing. And everybody has really just gone all in. And that’s the great thing about America. When you’re going down the highway and you’re seeing license plates from Montana and Iowa and Oklahoma and everywhere in between, coming down with brush trucks and debris removal and tractors. I mean, it’s an all hands on deck effort. And we know that things will never be the same down there. It is such total devastation. But the fact that we were able to come together. And heck, even Joe Biden told the world that hey, Ron DeSantis, you’re doing a heck of a job.”
