For three weeks now, Iranians, mainly Iranian women, have protested against their regime and its morality police. The unprecedented demonstrations of defiance were inspired by 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, who was reportedly killed by officers after she was detained for not properly wearing a hijab. The protests were quick to receive international intention, but will they be effective enough to create change?
