New Purple WOKE M&M
There will be a new color added to one of your favorite chocolate candy snacks and it’s not for flavor, it’s for virtue signaling.
Oh Goodie. I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.
Mars, Inc, the company behind M&Ms is introducing a new purple character to its lineup. Now let me be clear, they aren’t adding a new color to the candy selection itself, just a figurehead character to represent “acceptance and inclusivity.”
The character will be female- which is odd given the woke aren’t usually fond of assigning genders…
But either way, the new character named “Purple” is the first new M&M character in a decade. She has keen self-awareness and a quirky nature- quite the accomplishment for a candy coated snack.
But there’s more, she also has a single out and for every stream of “I’m Just Gonna be Me,” the company will donate $1 to the charity “Sing for Hope,” up to $500k.
Now look, if they want to add a new M&M character, fine and cool, but does it have to have a woke undertone?
Earlier this year Mars INC already vowed to shake up its candy characters to be more diverse and tolerant.
A candy, really? Where does it end?!
