Decades after her passing, Mother Teresa remains synonymous with compassion and kindness. She was canonized in 2016 and is still honored today all over the world.

A new book published to mark the 25th anniversary of her passing, To Love And Be Loved, gives a closer, more personal look at Mother Teresa’s life and legacy.

Recently, Fox News Anchor special FOX News Rundown host Dana Perino spoke with the author, Jim Towey, who served as Mother Teresa’s personal lawyer.

Towey described how over the years he became her close friend and he got to see firsthand her hard work and devotion to the poor, sick and lonely.

Due to time limitations, we could not include all of the conversations in our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear Dane Perino’s entire conversation with Jim Towey and hear more personal stories about Mother Teresa and why someone who was considered a living saint would even need a lawyer.
