Evening Edition: Xi Jinping And Putin Meet In Central Asia
President Xi Jinping is taking his first overseas trip since the beginning of the pandemic to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit. The meeting held in Uzbekistan will assemble those two nations along with Iran, India, Turkey and other foreign powers with tense relations with the Western world. FOX’s Jeff Monosso speaks with Craig Singleton, China Program Deputy Director and Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, about the meeting, what they are expected to discuss and China’s aggressive foreign policy plans.
