“How Do We Best Stop Chinese Aggression?”: Senator Blackburn On Her Trip To Taiwan
Amid heightened tensions and military exercises from China, American lawmakers have traveled to Taiwan to show support for the country’s independence. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) is the most recent member of Congress to visit, and she has recently returned to the United States.
Senator Blackburn believes America’s recognition of Taiwan’s independence would deter an attack from China. She warns that China plans for ‘global domination’ by the midpoint of the century and discusses how they’re working closely with other adversaries of the United States to form an ‘axis of evil.’ She also discusses the patriotism she observed from the Taiwanese people during her visit, and how they’re hard at work preparing their defense against the Chinese.
