Rep. Lee Zeldin: Kathy Hochul Only Wants To Be The Governor For New Yorkers Who Agree With Her
New York Republican gubernatorial nominee Lee Zeldin joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to respond to Governor Kathy Hochul telling him and other GOP candidates in the Empire State to “get out of town” and head to Florida.
“The reason why New York leads the entire nation in population loss is because of rising crime, the higher cost of living, attacks on freedom, the erosion of the quality of education in our schools. Why don’t we talk about that? I have challenged Kathy Hochul to finish this sentence: New York leads the entire nation in population loss because…? I mean, I know the answer to that. I don’t even know if she knows. I’d love to hear her even try to spit that out. And you know what? We’ve reached this point in politics where they’re running out of names to call the Right. And the next thing that’s left is just the use of the word terrorist, which is a word that’s used in third world countries and elsewhere where everyone’s political opposition is a terrorist. I’m running against Kathy Hochul because I believe that she’s the wrong person to run this state. I’m not saying that she’s no longer a New Yorker and demanding that she gets on the next bus and leaves for California. And I’m looking to be the governor for all Yorkers. Clearly, she’s just looking to be the governor for the New Yorkers who agree with her and won’t challenge her.”
Rep. Zeldin also explains why one of his first acts as governor would be to fire Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Listen to the podcast to hear what else he had to say!
