University Mask Mandates and the Forever Pandemic
Georgetown University isn’t dropping its mask mandate.
The forever pandemic continues.

Mask Mandates have been dropped in most places across the country because, well, there isn’t much evidence they do much good.
Still, some universities won’t do away with face diaper mandates. Georgetown, located in Washington D.C. will require students to wear masks during in-class instruction this fall, though they aren’t required to wear them at “informal gatherings” such as libraries.
That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but then again, I don’t believe these mandates have ever made sense.
In addition to forced masking, the university still has its vaccine mandate in place- meaning the full COVID series plus a booster for those eligible.
Again, the COVID vaccine doesn’t prevent infection or spread so this mandate- like the mask mandate- just feels like yet another liberal power trip!
The Left does not want to let the pandemic go and I don’t think they ever will.
They prefer to have people scared, masked, vaxxed and under the regulatory thumb for as long as possible.
Boy, am I glad I live in a free state! I burned my mask long, long ago!
