Paul Pelosi’s DUI

Paul Pelosi pleaded guilty to DUI but if you think he’s getting much more than a slap on the wrist, you don’t understand liberal privilege or California justice.

Paul Pelosi- the multimillionaire husband of speaker Nancy Pelosi- could have certainly afforded to take an Uber back in May when he instead chose to drive under the influence and hit another vehicle in the process.

But if you thought he’d face steep consequences, you’d be wrong.

Nope as part of his plea deal he was given only 5 days in jail. He was already given credit for 4 days, two days he served and 2 he was given as a freebie for “conduct.”

The remaining time will be served with Paul attending an 8-hour work program. He also has to attend a drunk driving program, drive 1 year with an interlock device, pay restitution and 3 years probation.

I’d like to see video proof he is forced to follow through with any of the above.

This all amounts to another episode of liberal privilege. Everyone makes mistakes but you’d think a man of his age, wealth and social standing would be smart enough NOT to drive drunk.

He could’ve killed someone but he’s getting off the hook with a little slap on the wrist. Wish I could say I’m surprised.
