With midterm elections eleven weeks away, states such as New York and Florida are preparing for their primary elections today. While the GOP hopes to take back the House and the Senate with a sweeping ‘red wave,’ FOX News Power Rankings suggest that the races may look tighter come November. The school year has begun for students across the country and many school districts are reporting dire teacher shortages. A June survey from the American Federation of Teachers found that 74 percent of respondents were dissatisfied with their jobs, with 40 percent saying they will likely leave the profession in the next two years.
