Florida AG Ashley Moody: America Is Having A ‘Wait, What?’ Moment When It Comes To Lawlessness
Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on how failed leadership is to blame for the current lawlessness happening in major U.S. cities and at our Southern border.
“The border, put simply, is exactly what’s happening in our large cities and states right now, in terms of having executive leaders that want folks to trust them to run the executive branch. And hey, the definition of that means we enforce the laws. They get in office and then they drop the ball. They don’t do it. They ignore it. And that’s what you’re seeing. The president is ignoring his duty to enforce the public safety immigration laws at the border. And you’re seeing politicians, mayors, state attorneys, DA’s in these cities that were once thriving and great because, you could ensure a business or a family, look, if you reside here, if you do business here, we’re stable, we’ll protect you. If someone comes after you, we’ve got you. You can’t trust that anymore. You can’t trust that that will happen automatically because someone runs to be a leader in your community. And so, now when these leader, mayors and other state attorneys are talking about what’s going on in our communities, look at the affect, we have rising murder and rising violent crime. Well it’s because you stopped enforcing the law. It’s not rocket science. Do your job and things will change.”
Plus, AG Moody talks about why so many people have recently been fleeing other states and moving to Florida. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
